Huntington Woods Homeowners Association Board of Directors Meeting

 

 

Meeting Date:           29th September, 2004

Present:                  Tim Isle, , Tom Longest, Mike Latz, Holger Tank, Lisa Tabor, Tom Meade

Agenda Items:

1.      Homeowners’ Association Dues

Several homeowners are behind with their due payments. Mike Latz is following up with Mike Thayer to confirm. If necessary need to file a lien against the property for outstanding dues.

2.      Street Signs

Mike Latz is pricing the signs to order them. Holger Tank to write a letter to Cliff White (Trinity) asking for a contribution towards the purchase of the signs as a goodwill gesture to the neighborhood.

3.      Sprinkler System / Common Area Landscaping

Board discussed landscaping of common areas versus purchase of an irrigation system. Lisa Tabor is meeting with landscape designer Jim Altum from Litchfield Design to develop a master plan for the neighborhood. Overall plan should be able to be completed in different stand-alone phases and needs to be low maintenance. Landscaping versus irrigation system will voted on at the next community meeting.

4.      Community Meeting

Date for the Community meeting has been set for Saturday, November 6th, starting at 10 am. Agenda items:      Financial update (Mike Latz)

Vote on investing approximately $15,000 of the available funds on improving the neighborhood by installing an irrigation system or landscaping needs to be communicate 30 days prior to the community meeting (i.e. by October 7th).

5.      Newsletter

Janet Baker volunteered to help with the newsletter.

6.      Architectural Review

No action.

7.      Board Positions

Discussed handing the day-to-day management of the association back to a management company unless volunteers come forward to take on board positions. To be discussed further. Call for volunteers at the community meeting.
