Meeting Date:           04 November, 2003

Present:                  Tim Isle, Tom Longest, Mike Latz, Holger Tank, Todd Pierson

Apologies:                Lisa Tabor

Agenda Items:

1.      Open board positions

Chris Caniff, Jon Peterson and Janet Baker resigned from the Huntington Woods Homeowners Association Board of Directors.

Tim Isle agreed to act as the president of the Homeowners Association until new elections can take place.

2.      Hiring of Management Company

The board discussed whether it would be appropriate after the resignation of several board members to hand the management of the subdivision affairs back to a management company. The board members agreed that it was not necessary at this point to hire a management company.

3.      Financial turnover from Chris Caniff

Mike Latz volunteered to take over the treasurer’s position. Mike will arrange with Chris for the hand over of all files. Mike Latz, Tim Isle and Holger Tank will be given check signing authority.

4.      Newsletter turnover from Janet Baker

Lisa Tabor volunteered to prepare the newsletters for the subdivision.

5.      Updates / modifications to our covenants

The board agreed in principle that several paragraphs in our covenants are unclear and open to interpretation. It was agreed that the covenants need to be updated and the board will work with the homeowners over the next several months to come up with appropriate proposals. It was also agreed that the addition of a new clause should be discussed which requires a minimum number of votes in order to change the covenants.

6.      Closure to the truck issue

A homeowners’ meeting has been scheduled for November 15th at 10:00 am at the Zionsville Municipal Building to discuss the truck issue.

7.      Preparation for sprinkler system vote

The board agreed to obtain updated votes on a sprinkler system for the public area along Ford Road and prepare an estimate of the running cost versus the current practice of watering by trucks.
